My Elevator Pitch No. 3: 2 BUS-y 4 U

1) The pitch.

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.

I got a lot of positive feedback on my idea and people agreed with me that there is a need for this type of app. One commenter said, "I am usually stressed that I will not be able to make it somewhere on time because the bus will not arrive on time or does not have any open seats or room for more passengers." This is exactly the kind of customer that I am trying to target.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?

I did not change too much about my pitch, I just tried to make sure that I spoke well and explained my idea clearly. One commenter mentioned working on my "pauses," so I tried to do that although I wasn't too sure exactly what they had in mind.

  1. Hi Marissa,
I really like your idea. I think it would be incredibly useful. I also thought you had a good pitch. You explained why people would want to use the app and how it would make planning their day easier. I think having an app like this would be very helpful for anyone depending on a transportation system which they do not control. 2. Hello Marissa,

I could understand clearly even without watching it. Your accent, tone, and time management are really perfect. If I were to give you an advise, I would recommend you to wear more professionally. By doing that, your audiences will be able to fully focus on you and take it more seriously. Overall, great job! Please visit my blog and give me some feedback on my elevator pitch. 3. Marissa,

Solid Pitch. Good delivery. I really like the idea and think that it would be very valuable for really any type of public transportation system - doesn't really need to be limited to school campuses. I disagree with Bongju and took you seriously just fine with how you presented yourself. Not all pitches have to me extremely professional, you never know where you're going to meet a potential investor.
